My birthday was cool but I’m back, delivering to all the most random blog on the internet. Did ya’ll miss me? Anyways, I figured out why 9th left Little Brother. It’s kinda like the reason Big Boi doesn’t like recording with Andre 3000. It’s Phonte, and his randomness. What do I mean? Listen to this track:

Z0 ft. Phonte “African” Courtest of

Ok, the dude can sang a little, and he’s known for a random track like this every now and then. But LB fans are waiting on the Get Back, well, we were waiting before LB got dropped from Atlantic. But back to 9th…hearing ish like this prolly put the dude over the end. And that’s why he always looks disgruntled in all his photos.

If my group member wasted studio time on ish like “African,” I’d prolly have the gas face too.

Special Service Announcement From Randy Exclusive will not be blogging today. He’s busy celebrating his 26th Birthday. He’ll continue his blogging tomorrow, but today he’s prolly somewhere with his d*ck in a dancer.

Happy Birthday to Babygirl, Reggie, Big Zee, and Becky. It’s their Born Day too.

Word on the streets net is Little Brother member and producer, 9th Wonder, is leaving the Raleigh, NC rap group. (Source). Anyone that knows me knows LB is one of my favorite groups. (Why?). Because they’re prolly the only rappers I can listen to without someone getting shot, stabbed, or raped. Yeah, we all need to hear those songs that make you wanna slap the ish outta somebody, but you need a balance too. And that balance is a rapper that raps about ish the average Joes can relate to. That’s LB. I’m an average Joe. I can relate. So fux ya’ll nuccas.

Anyways, 9th is out, so Pooh and Phonte will have to pay cats for beats from here on out. Which isn’t really a big deal. I interviewed Phonte awhile back and from what he told me, the new LB album was gonna have production from outside producers anyway. 9th, LB won’t be the same without you. But hell, The Minstrel Show flopped so bad, I don’t think 9th not being on the next album will make a difference.

Pooh, Phonte, the pressure’s on.

Man, they can’t take away the Gangsta Grillz, I’m still pissed.

I’ve been hypin’ up Danny! for awhile now, 1) He’s a dope rapper/producer. 2) He’s from South Cack. 3) He’s a Nupe. 4) I know good music. 5) When someone I give props to does the damn thang, I’m the only one that can say, “See, I told you fuxs”. Well, see, I told you fuxs. The boy Danny walked away the winner of the MTVu and Def Jux contest for the best music on campus. (See here).

And here’s the Press Release:

mtvU, MTV’s 24-hour college network, and Definitive Jux Records today announced the winner of the first monthly record deal competition on mtvU’s “Best Music on Campus” (BMOC): Danny! of Savannah College of Art & Design. Propelled by votes from college students nationwide, Danny! was selected by mtvU and Definitive Jux as the top choice from the scores of acts that entered the competition. Danny! will now head into the studio and record an EP for the fabled indie hip hop label, and collaborate with Mr. Lif on a single and video. The video will premiere exclusively on mtvU and later this year.

Danny! has been doing his thing, google him. The kid is the most successful rapper from SC eva (yeah, I said it! Who else can say their name and Grammy in the same sentence?), and I’m still behind you Danny!, do your thang, fam.
