Man, i wrote this long thesis the other day when you first put that jena 6 story up, but I guess it got deleted when the site went down. Rope, you’re my LB so you I feel about this situation. We as minorities need to be more educated about stuff like this so we can make a strong effort to every prevent this from happening. Getting back to my thesis, I commented on topics such as Brown vs. Board of Education and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I believe that these are two of the most important things that one can truly know about civil rights movement in the United States. I won’t bore you with the details, but to anyone out there that might read this, got to the wiki and look it up. This information is so valuable, and we, including myself, take it for granted all the time. All I can say is pray for the Jena 6, and keep the movement of hope going strong….

The six teens are not the very nicest kids anyways and why shouldnt they be put in jail, and for all you uneducated people THE CHARGES HAVE BEEN REDUCED and M. Bell isnt even being charged anymore cuz the charges have been Vacated!!! and he was previously charged with 5 felonies before he was 18 so there what bout those times where he wasnt put in jail!! huh??
and if you think that the generous bail that was posted for him (95,000 dollars) which only 9,000 needs to be paid WHY DOESNT J. JACKSON OR A. SHARPTON PAY FOR IT?????? everyone needs to get over this crap. these boys ganged up on another kid and beat the crap out him. they should be in jail regardless of what planet they come from or what color. They should be tried as minors. this was a highschool incident, not attempted murder. The white kids should have been charged as minors, with a hate crime in addition to being expelled. A threat via means of a rope hanging on a tree is a racist threat that should be dealt with, but it is less significant than beating this young boy up. I agree that prosecution errors were made, both with not charging the white kids, and over-reacting to the black kids. This town isn’t racist, they have an idiot prosecutor who may be racist. This is not a special moment in civil rights history, it’s one screwed up prosecutor, similar to the Lacross team charged with rape by some moron. Don’t let Jesse and Al get you al worked up, all they care about REALLY is publicity, and people fall for their bullshit like moths into the flames.

The WHITE guy with the shotgun needs to be charged. As for the BLACK kid that got into the fight outside the school who tried to get into an invitational banquet, EVERYONE involved should be cited. As for the beating of the WHITE kid at school, the six BLACK kids need to be charged as minors, but remember they are not innocent either. I just saw pictures of the one kid that was released holding his fist up chanting for the JENA 6 and I thought that was such bullshit because he should be in jail for the beating he was involved in also. So all together, there should be a bunch of WHITE and BLACKS in jail right now.

no the six kids should not be charged as minors because only two of them were under 18 at the time, one being M. Ball (who has no adult charges pending against him, and is only in jail cuz no one will pay his small bond!!!!!) so only 2 should be charged as minors, the other for were 18 or older so they are adults!!
