I swear, I’m tired of posting shit about Lil Wayne (especially over the weekend) but I know nuccas wanna know the haps. DJ Drama interviewed Lil Wayne on the Aphilliates Sirius Satellite Radio show last night and Weezy said he was actually talking about The Empire mixtapes when he said fux mixtape DJs. He shoulda been more clear and said that, before DJs started leaking his album…I’m just sayin’.
Listen to the interview at Atlanta Urban Mix (even though my dude Jason said I don’t fux wit’ his blog but I do).
A substitute teacher and a student swung it out in an ATL high school. I bet the student saw the Soulja Girl video and figured she could take the old lady. SMH.
I didn’t get a chance to drop my 10 Fav Songs last week, but “N.I.G.G.E.R.” was definitely last week’s top choice, so this week it takes top spot. Above is the new cover for Nas’ album, (talk about making a statement). The album might not be called Nigger anymore but this guy is determined to get his point across. Here are my Top 10 Fav Songs of the week and let me know what you all have been listening.
I want to take a quick second to shout out my man Kobe Bryant. Last night Kobe “Jellybean” Bryant led his LA Lakers to the NBA Finals with a 100-92 win over the defending champions San Antonio Spurs, clutching the 7 game series 4-1. I know there are a lot of Kobe haters out there, (I didn’t like the guy much myself after he threw Shaq under the bus), and while I’m not a Kobe fan, the guy has led my fantasy basketball teams to two league titles in the last 4 years, so I have no choice but to cheer the dude on in real life.
Jellybean has been the best player in the NBA for the last few years, and this year with him winning league MVP and carrying his team to the finals, pretty much cements that notion. I predict the Lakers will win the NBA Finals over the Boston Celtics in 6 games. I can’t see Kobe losing this year. The dude has skills.
