I caught this video over at the evil empire xxlmag.com and thought you Weezy fans would love it. Personally, I became a fan of Lil Wayne back in ‘97 when he had that solo track called “Block Burner” on the first Hot Boyz album Get It How You Live! I liked the fella back then but he really stepped his rhymes up when Gillie started writing for him he dropped this track. But still, I never thought he’d get to the level he’s at now.
The Carter 3 in stores June 10th (if it doesn’t get pushed back again, which it probably will. Wait, doesn’t Plies drop his album on that day too. Maybe they should do a Lil Wayne vs. Plies thing, a la Curtis vs. Kanye. Ummmmm…on second thought, maybe not).

Me too I was feelin Wayne since the Hot Boys came out then every album he dropped was hot. Yea i’m with you on the Gillie situation, even if he didn’t literally write for him, he must have taught him the delivery, swagger, style all the things that separate rappers from the rest.
My nigga Turk is real underrated too
