That new Black Milk album is dope. Go cop that. Or at least download it.

Sample Track: Black Milk ft. Royce Da 5’9” – Losing Out

I know you’re probably thinking to yourself that Tim Duncan isn’t exactly the kind of player that has a lot of fans, probably because his game is as stiff as an old dude on Viagra (no homo), but I fuxs with Timmy. No, he doesn’t blow you away with his moves, he barely shows emotion, and his slam dunks are as boring as Foxy Brown’s last album. But at the end of the day, or game I should say, the Big Fundamentals gets buckets.

Actually, the real reason I’m a Tim Duncan fan isn’t Tim Duncan at all. The real reason I fuxs wit TD is Randolph Childress.

Randolph Childress was Tim Duncan’s teammate at Wake Forest in the back days, and you couldn’t tell me Childress wasn’t the nicest thing since sliced bread. Dude had the sweetest jump shot in the ACC, and during the 1995 ACC Tournament, he got busy, averaging 35 points and 7 assists a game, carried Wake Forest to the title and was named tourney MVP. One time he shook Jeff McInnis so bad, I think Jeff is still trying to pick his pride off the floor:

Randolph’s career never panned out in the NBA, but he’s still one of my favorite basketball players ever (plus he has the same first name as me, so I mean, that already makes him one cool dude). But since Childress didn’t make it in the Association, I lived my Randolph Childress/Wake Forest fan days through Duncan. And that’s why Tim Duncan is on the All R.E. Team.

I can’t have the All R.E. Team without my main man Scottie Pippen. Scottie was my first favorite player ever. While everyone else was on Michael Jordan’s jock in the ’90s, I decided that I was riding with Pippen. The dude had the best all-around game in the NBA. He could shoot, pass, handle the rock, whatever, and on the defensive end, nuccas couldn’t score on him. If it wasn’t for Scottie, Jordan wouldn’t have won all those championships. Jordan needed Pippen, and Pippen needed Jordan (no homo, just in case).

My favorite Scottie Pippen moment of all-time is when Scottie dunked on Patrick Ewing. I mean, it wasn’t just an ordinary dunk, it was a jam-on-your-head-nuts-all-in-your-mouth dunk.

20 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists a game…Scottie Pippen used to get busy. And that’s why he’s on the All R.E. Team.

Since it’s NBA Jumpoff week on The Block, I’m gonna hitting ya’ll with my All R.E. Team, which consists of my favorite NBA ballers of all-time, not necessarily the best players…just my favorites. I’m gonna pick a player from all five positions, and my point guard for the All R.E. team is none other than Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway.

Penny Hardaway is my favorite basketball player of all-time. I’m not talking about the bad knees, can’t get off the end of the bench Penny Hardaway of the last 10 years. I’m talking about that cross a nucca up, drive to the hoop and yam on a muthaf*cka (or throw a no look lob to Shaq) Penny Hardaway. I mean that straight outta Memphis, 1993-1997 Penny Hardaway (what you young bucks know about that?).

That’s back when Penny and Shaq had that one-two combination down in Orlando, they were Shaq and Kobe, before Shaq and Kobe. Orlando was my team back then. You couldn’t tell me that Penny wasn’t the second coming of Magic Johnson. That was until he f*cked up his knees, and he never was the same.

But Penny was so cool back in the days…man, this nucca even had a miniature Penny…Lil’ Penny. C’mon, dawg, how many NBA players ever had a mini sidekick. Lil’ Penny prolly had more swag than Penny, dude was always after the hoes promiscuous girls.

Penny Hardaway was that dude, that’s even LeBron James’s favorite player. And that’s why, he’s First Team All R.E.

I can’t front, this new Soulja Boy song is hella annoying, but cot damn if this ish ain’t catchy. I’m gonna go ahead and say it…I like this ish. F*ck it. I like it. This kid is a genius (well, kinda sorta). If ya’ll never come back to The Block again, I’ll understand. But I can’t help it. It’s been stuck in my head since I heard it last week. (*R.E. shrugs*). What you want me to do? I’m sorry…

So, yeah. I went ahead and copped the new MacBook Pro. I got it yesterday, and actually, I still haven’t opened the box yet. It’s just kind of sitting there. I got it yesterday, and by the time I got home, ate, watched True Blood and Entourage, I was too tired to play with this thing. I’m at the j-o-b, on the office computer right now. So, I’m going to wait until I get home before I get to know her (yeah, I still refer to all objects as women. I’m gonna call my MacBook “Maxine”. My Instinct phone is named “Issy”, btw).

I was really going back and forth with my decision to get a Mac or a PC. But I think my homie Eric had the best advice. He said, “get whatever computer Barack has.”

He had a point. I bet Barack has a Mac. And with that, it was time for a change. I’ve been dealing with PC’s all my life. It was just that time to try a Mac.

Anyways, I’m gonna need a minute to figure out how to use “Maxine” properly, so I might not update the Block too much today. But once I get all my programs on her and figure out how to operate things, everything will be back to normal. But from here on out, I’m a Mac, and you…you’re probably a PC.

I saw this new Sean John clothing ad with Cassie and my wifie Lauren London over at I can’t help it. I mean, Cassie, she’s cute but LL, she’s Dope.

So, the other day I was at a house party, and “Nasty Song” came on. For those of you not in the know, “Nasty Song” is a track by my South Cack homie, Lil Ru, and it’s probably my favorite song out of South Carolina this year (of course, because I’m nasty like that). So when I hear it I usually get busy and bust out a shimmy or something.

Anyways, I guess I left a lasting impression on my “homegirl” from my “Nasty Song” performance because I got a text from her and the convo went like this:

Shawty: The nasty song reminds me o u now. OMG!

RE: That’s good. I want u to think nasty thoughts when u think about me.

Shawty: LMAO!! Noooooo!! Only happy thoughts. Nothing nasty. Loser.

RE: Happy. Nasty. Same thing.

Shawty: Ur a mess boo. Those don’t go in the same category.

RE: Yes they do. Let me do something nasty to u. When Im done, youll be happy.

Shawty: LMAO literally.

Ok, I’ll stop there. Those sex text messages get outta control sometimes.
