Hello I am writing to inquire about the song, “Empire State of mind” I have been hearing a lot of controversy over this song in particular from Christians as far as the meaning of this song. Can I please have someone email me back the meaning of this song. In particular the lines: “if Jesus is payin’ Lebron I’m payin’ Dwayne Wade,” Jesus can’t save you, life starts when the church stops. Please if anyone can send me a reply that would be so awesome!
