Sorry, the radio rip is all I’ve seen so far. You guys will have to wait on the CDQ until later. CuDi’s new album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is reportedly dropping on September 14th, along with Kanye, Big Sean, Consequence and anyone else on G.O.O.D. Music. Kinda how No Limit would drop multiple albums on the same day…get ready for G.O.O.D. Music Day. This should be interesting.
Just to be 100 about the situation, I don’t believe anything coming out of this guy’s mouth or tweets, but it’s getting harder not to rock with him because he makes good music. I might be becoming a Ricky Rozay fan all over again. That song with Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y didn’t help either. Matter of fact, behind the scenes footage from the “Super High (Remix)” video with Spitta and Wiz is in the cut.
Shot and directed by Motion Family, this three-part video covers The-Dream’s “Yamaha,” “Nikki Pt. 2″ and “Abyss.” Dream’s Love King album is in stores now. (I see ya’ll working, Motion Family).
Well, the numbers are in, and according to Billboard, Eminem’s seventh album, Recovery, moved 741,00 units in its first week, making it Eminem’s sixth straight #1 album, and the 2nd highest first week sales for a digital album in history at 255,000 (2nd only to Coldplay’s Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends at 288,000).
Let the hip-hop chuuch say… well damn. I guess this goes to show that people will go out and support your music if they’re moved to. If you’re wondering, Em’s Relapse album sold 608,000 copies in it’s first week last year. The difference here, 133,000 heard Relapse and figured that ish was wack, so they didn’t buy it. But hats off to Em for coming correct this time.
