Yesterday, on 106 & Park, ATL trio Travis Porter debuted their latest video “College Girl,” off there Music Money Magnums mixtape. I just watched the video, and it almost brought a tear to my eyes. I mean, I’m not an overly sensitive dude, but I will say my college years were the best years of my life, and I’d give anything to go back, or just to be a college kid with nothing to worry about but getting up for class, studying for a midterm, scraping up a few bucks for the $1 menu at Wendy’s, getting fresh for the party on Friday and hollering at shawty that sits in the front during ECON class. Those are really the only worries a college kid has.

I spent two years at the South Carolina State University, and then three more years at the University of South Carolina, and I didn’t know it then, but life couldn’t get much better than that. I mean, college institutions give you an unlimited assortment of beautiful, educated, career-driven young women at your disposal…and every year they bring in a new class with hundreds more girls to choose from. And the only thing universities ask from you in return are a few thousand dollars a semester, and to academically maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average. Plus, after four years of getting at all the college girls you can manage, if you uphold your end of the bargain, the school will give you a college diploma, that will on average will allow you to better your future and award you a higher paying salary than someone that didn’t go to college (no shots, I’m just going by the numbers). In my opinion, there’s nothing better than going to college.

Every time I talk to a college student, they complain and always talk about how they can’t wait to graduate, and I’m always like, “FOR WHAT!?!” Man, if I had it to do over, I’d stay in college for the rest of my life. I’d be Van Wilder at USC, and never graduate. Ain’t nothing but bills, debit, and women past their prime when you graduate from college…ok, life after graduation isn’t all that, but college girls are a lot more fun than when in the real world (I’m just sayin’).

Even though these Travis Porter dudes didn’t go to college, they know college girls are just better. AKAs and Deltas left and right, studious chicks that are really freaks behind closed dorm room doors, and those girls on the track team with bodies built like horses…man, college is the sh-t! Word to Travis Porter.
