Yeah, we’re right back with another one. This time around I interviewed Yung Berg, Akon’s new group Rock City and my dude 2 Pistols. The new issue will be on news stands this week but you can check the entire issue online here.

Right on cue, the luckiest little man in hip-hop graces the cover of Your Favorite Rapper’s Favorite magazine to introduce his new artist 9th Ward. I’m not really sure how Nitti comes into the equation. He probably makes some beats for 9th Ward to rapper and JD to scream “So So Def!” over but I’m not really feeling dude’s video (so, you’re just gonna shoot nuccas down in the streets in your debut video, 9th Ward). 9th Ward is supposedly the hottest thing out the N.O. since Juvenile came with “Ha” (*gives Ward the side eye*) and you can pick up the new issue of OZONE to read more about him.

The other cover story is on Mickey “Memphitz” Wright. He’s the Vice President of A&R over at Jive, who’s responsible for signing T-Pain and that “pop, locking and drop it” dude (whose name I can’t remember right now) to his Hitz Committee label. And if you’ve never heard of him, don’t worry, I didn’t even know who he was until I went to his myspace page 5 minutes ago.

But the issue is pretty dope. Since it’s an anniversary issue, it has a bunch of throwback pics from artists before they really made it big. So, you can see your favorite rappers like Lil Wayne, Outkast, Nelly, Rick Ross and many more looking ridiculous back in the days.

In stores soon now.

So, over at Ozone we put together mini special edition issues for different events across the country and Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, SC is one of those issues. Last year, since SC is my homestate, I put the Bike Week special edition on my back and did that muthafucka all by my damnself. But this year I said the hell with that and I passed the guest editor duties over to my dude Charlamagne Tha God. And this year, DJ Chuck T and his brother P.IM.P. are cookin’ up music on the cover along with Charlotte, NC’s Sonny Rich and TEF.

Even though I wasn’t guest editor, I did contribute to the issue by interviewing Phonte of Little Brother, NC newcomers Rain and Young Swift, and I chopped it up with C. Tha God himself. Other than that, I let Charla and Ms. Rivercity handle the rest of the issue.

If you’re in Myrtle Beach this weekend, you’ll prolly see me slangin’ this issue all over the beach, while trying to come up on a groupie or two. So, if you’re in Myrtle Beach this weekend, get at me, if not….I’ll tell ya’ll about it on The Block Monday.

No words.

Update: I stand corrected. The gayest cover next to this one, of course. My bad. Props to eskay for bringing that to my attention.

Shawty Lo and B.o.B. cover the 3rd annual Ozone Magazine DJ issue, on streets and in stores now.

The Nick Cannon/Mariah thing is still random.

Rapquest is a section in Ozone Magazine that features the hip-hop scenes of different under-the-radar cities across the country. Just recently, Rapquest went video, should be premiering on MTV Jams real soon, and Orlando, FL was the first city we featured, (which only makes sense because Ozone started there).

Yep, R.E. is getting his TV game up, associate producer style. Shouts out to James Wade on the production.

Just wanted to let ya’ll know, Ozone’s 2nd Annual Drug issue is on the streets.
