I woke up this morning and like I do most morning, I check Twitter to see if people are gossiping about anything interesting that happened while I was sleep. And today I saw a lot to people asking questions about an altercation that took place in Atlanta at Luckie Lounge. From what I’m hearing, there was some type of melee, that may or may not have involved Young Jeezy & CTE, and the Aphilliates La The Darkman. I don’t know any details, but I heard some people may have got stabbed up. There’s actually a report about it on the AJC site here. This all might be true, because La and CTE got into it last year at the Dirty Awards, so you already know he doesn’t have a problem acting like a nigga, and then sending out an email about it. I wasn’t there and I don’t like to speak on things that I don’t know much about, but my dude Gyant has some info on it at his site, if you all feel like being nosey.

But wait, there’s more…

wrong

I also found out today on Twitter (of course), that 72-year-old actor Morgan Freeman has been having a long time affair with his now 27-year-old step granddaughter (*blank stare*). This whole story just sounds wrong on so many levels. I refuse to go into anymore details. I just thought it was a good topic to add to my Thursday Morning F*ckery reports. Just read the story here.

It’s too early for this ish. I think I need some Starbucks.

Micheal Vick is out of jail. I think he’s gonna be on house arrest for a couple months. If Lassie comes up missing, ya’ll know where to look. (Read more here).

I know people will be talking wondering about this today, so I’m going to go ahead and put it out there. Konvict Muzik artist Dolla was shot and killed yesterday in Los Angeles, California. More details are available here. Condolences go out to Dolla, his friends and family.

It’s always sad to hear of someone’s death. But it’s always more heartbreaking when it’s a violent crime. We got to do better.

nas-kelis

Word on the streets net, Nas and Kelis are headed for divorce, and this one is kinda hurts, because if Nas and Kelis can’t make it work…SMH (*no words*). Recently, I haven’t been pushing my Love Is For Suckers movement, like I have in the past. To be honest with ya’ll, I had a change of heart. I actually got “sucker for love” with a shawty, then she did the stanky leg on my heart, so I’ve been on some Eamon ish out late, but I can’t really be mad because I was on some Fabolous “Can’t Let You Go” type sh!t, so I guess karma came back on me (FAIL). (Even my internet girlfriend broke up with me, it’s cool though, I still read her blog, but that’s neither here nor there).

So, back to Nas and Kelis. I read the story about their divorce over at Vibe.com. Vibe’s a credible publications, plus they have the divorce papers posted on their site, so this must be true.

I feel kinda bad for the homie Nas. Personally, he’s my favorite rapper of all-time, and I know he’s probably somewhere drunk by himself right now. Hold your head big homie, just “smarten up Nas” and join the Love Is For Suckers movement. Just don’t kill her, man:

charleston

While I was home this weekend, Forbes dropped a new list for America’s Most Dangerous Cities, and once again my home town received a top rating (don’t you darn cheer, Charlestonians). I’ve been keeping up with these kinda lists since I started blogging and my hometown Charleston, SC has always been up in the top 15 or so, beating about cities like Atlanta, Philadelphia and Baltimore, on the regular. Considering how grimey Baltimore seemed on The Wire, you’d think that places like that would easily out rank lil ole Charleston. Of course those cities are bigger, and they have way more crime, but accounting to the per capita studies, you’re more likely to get fuxed the fux up in Charleston than most other places, which also reminds me why I don’t stay home too long or frequent certain parts of town when I do go.

Actually, when I go home, I usually hang around places like the picture above, downtown, where a lot of white people, nice shops, bars, and restaurants are. Now, if you venture off on the other side of the tracks…at the wrong place, wrong time, you might catch a bad one from someone that doesn’t have much to live for (but that’s mostly the people out in North Charleston…not so much the side of town that I’m from), and according to Forbes Charleston is #8 Most Dangerous City on their list.

I know on other, previous lists we’ve had the #7, #13, #20 spots, respectively (of course), so Charleston has always been a place that has no damn sense. And it’s evident since the #1 local song is called “Shoot The Fuck Up.” (SMH). But yeah, you can read the new Forbes report below.

My homegirl Ms. Rivercity interviewed Young Dro over at Grand Hustle studios the other day, and this nucca Dro…I mean…WTF…damn, Dro…this is some real Gangstalicious sh!t. (But I don’t know, I might be trippin’. Maybe he has in laptop in there or something. Yeah, his laptop is in there).

Spotted @ the j-o-b’s blog.

My homie Maurice played this video for me yesterday, and we had a good laugh in the Ozone office. Thought I’d share this with you all. Bums in Atlanta are always asking for change. (Nucca, I ain’t got it). But I woulda gave this dude at least $5 if I saw him rapping on the street.

This could be the fate of a lot of rappers in the game.
