SC all day, everyday. Salute to the homie C. Tha God.

Hopefully by now you all have copped J. Cole’s debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story. If not you’re missing out on a dope album (assuming you didn’t bootleg it).

If Cole’s album doesn’t sell it’s not because his PR team isn’t working. Just this week alone I’ve seen this dude in XXL, The Source, Complex, Rolling Out, Necole Bitchie and God knows where else.

But this interview he did was is pretty dope. Sit back as J. Cole breaks down his album track-by-track. Go get that album. #ColeWorld.

“I don’t love ‘em, I don’t chase ‘em, I duck ‘em” -Wiz Khalifa “Memorized”

What happened to that Wiz? Huh? We lived by those lyrics for a whole summer and this is how you repay us?

Charlamagne mistaking Mac Miller for Machine Gun Kelly is proof that C. Tha God doesn’t know what’s going on in these streets. That’s fun though…

I got a chance to interview 9th Wonder for HipHopWired, and for me…being a big Little Brother fan and treating The Listening and The Minstrel Show albums as Hip-Hop gospel, it was dope as hell for me to finally have the opportunity to chop it up with a Carolina hip-hop legend like 9th Wonder.

The interview went kinda long, so it ended up getting cut into clips, so here’s Part 1 of my 9th Wonder interview. I’ll post up Part 2 when it gets released.

I interviewed Yelawolf with the folks over at HipHopWired recently. The interview was a lot longer than what they chopped it down to, so I’ll see if I can get my hands on the rest of the video and put it out myself.

Nevertheless, Yela talked about the Vans Warped Tour he was on, his Shady debut album and the grind it took to get where he’s at now.

Shouts out to J-Dot too.

Yelawolf’s Radioactive album drops on September 27th.

This week for Where Is Hip-Hop? me and Nanci talked about Jay-Z and Kanye’s Watch The Throne album and how they managed to release the album without it leaking.

And I don’t know how ya’ll feel about WTT but the album is jammin’ to me…

No disrespect to Six Man, but Will Power should have won Producer of the Year at the South Carolina Music Awards this year. And the fact that he didn’t is an example of the reason a lot of people don’t take the SC Music Awards seriously, and it also speaks to my argument that the SC awards nominees and winners shouldn’t be put in the hands of the public because quite frankly…nuccas don’t know what the f*ck is going on out here.

Here you have a producer in Will Power a.k.a. Supahot Beats who has produced for Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and Tech N9ne (even though most negroes don’t know who Tech N9ne is) over the last year, all while waving his state flag, but still doesn’t get recognition from home.

But I digress…

Nevertheless, keep working, Will Power. I salute you.
