I told ya’ll the Lakers are going to win the whole thing. Ya’ll need to start listening to me.
Ray Allen set a NBA Finals record with by making eight 3 pt field goals, and Rajon Rondo had a triple double, as the Boston Celtics tied up the 2010 NBA Finals 1-1, in their 103-94 win over LA last night. Game 3 is Tuesday night in Boston at 9 pm on ABC.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics tip off the 2010 NBA Finals tonight at 9 pm on ABC. I’m predicting the Lakers to win the series 4-2, but I’m taking all bets.
Well, the next time you see Lebron James, it might not be in a Cleveland Cavs jersey, as King James and his Cleveland squad lost Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals to the Boston Celtics, giving Garnett & Co. a 4-2 series win. Sorry Bron. We’ll see you next time.
I really have no idea what the news stories over the weekend are/were, but I do know D. Wade dropped 46 on the Celts, dunked on Kevin Garnett and lead to the Heat to a 101-92 victory over Boston. But I’m lost on anything else. Sorry. New week ya’ll.
If you missed it, the dopeness of the NBA Playoffs…
Just for the hell of it, Russell Westbrook’s dunk over Lamar Odom is under the hood.
Well, NBA folks, as ya’ll already know, the 2010 NBA Playoffs is already underway, and since I didn’t get a chance to speak on it yesterday, I’m gonna throw out my picks to win this year’s championship. And you can probably guess from the picture above, I’m going with Kobe and the Lakers to repeat as champions. But if it makes any Lebron James fans feel better, I am picking the Cleveland Cavs to come out the East, and hopefully this year we’ll get to see the NBA Finals that everyone and Nike is dying to see.
I know there are some people that believe in Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic, but I just don’t believe that Vince Carter has enough left to carry the Magic like Hedo Turkoglu did last season, but that’s just me. And I know the Dallas Mavericks have been playing well since they added Caron Butler, but I just don’t see Dirk and his squad making it either.
So, I’m going Kobe vs. Lebron:
Only time will tell, but I’m going 4-3 Lakers in the NBA Finals this year. Put your bets up.
Congratulations to the Duke Blue Devils. The 2010 College Basketball National Champs. I didn’t want Duke to win, but I can’t be mad at them bringing the college b-ball trophy back to the Carolinas. 61-59 Duke over Butler (it was a good game too). I know a lot of people hate Duke (I’m not much of a Duke fan myself), but they are the championships, let them have their shining moment.
