Young Money/Cash Money, playboy. Birdman’s Pricele$$ is in stores now, and it ain’t that bad.
Lupe Fiasco dropped a new mixtape on Thursday, but as you’ll know I was on vacation, so I didn’t post it. Well, as I always say, better late than never, right? There isn’t really any original music on here. Lupe pretty much went jacking for beats, but as you could imagine, he ripped this ish. Enjoy.

I know you guys remember New Orleans rapper, Kidd Kidd, especially since I’ve blogged about him a few times over the last year. But to jog your memory, Kidd used to go by Nutt da Kidd, and quite a few years back he used to run with Wayne and Sqad Up, back when they were dropping all those mixtapes. Fast forward to 2007-2008, and Kidd was still rolling with Wayne. He was on Weezy’s “Mrs. Officer” single (although he wasn’t in the video), and he recorded a bunch of records with Wayne and Drake, when Drizzy first started fuxing with Young Money. But after that, Kidd separated himself from Wayne, and he was relatively quite after that.
Prior to his split from Young Money, I interviewed him for Ozone, but since I wrote the article based on him being a part of YM, when he left it messed up the based of my story, so we never ran the article. And he wasn’t doing much after that, so I never had a reason to rewrite it for print purposes. I talked to Kidd a few months back and told him he needed to put some new music out, and honestly, that nucca’s accent is so strong I’m not sure what he told me, and all I heard was “youheardme” and “youknowwhatImsayin’,” but I really didn’t.
Anyways, it looks like Kidd Kidd is back on his game, and from what I heard he has a new situation with Sha Money XL, who was instrumental in getting G-Unit poppin’, so it looks like Nutt is in good company. But you can read about all that here. The link to his new mixtape is below. And after the jump there’s a video where Kidd covers Drake’s “Fear,” although he might wanna leave the sangin’ to Drizzy. I’m just sayin’.

Here’s the Kevin Cossom project I was talking about the other day. I’m sure he has a few bangers on here. Enjoy.

I’m not sure who’s putting this series together, but they always find a way to get some unreleased Drake joints, and compile those with his latest features. There are a couple cool tracks on here, but overall it’s nothing special. Actually, I don’t even know why I’m posting this.

Tracklist down low.
I don’t even think this song is finished but Tha Bizness put it on their Twitter, so fux it. Here goes. (Hopefully, this isn’t on Thank Me Later).

About a month ago Young Money’s Gudda Gudda dropped his mixtape Guddaville. I downloaded it the day it came out, but it took me a couple weeks to listen to it, and I never did put it on The Block. I actually didn’t expect much from Gudda Gudda. Not that he’s a wack rapper, but out of everyone on the Young Money roster—Drake, Mack Maine, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Lil Twist, Shanell—, he’s probably the last artist I’d give a fux about listening to. But I gave this mixtape a spin, and low and behold, this ish jammin’. No bullsh!t, Guddaville is one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard all year, and if you haven’t checked it out, you should, and like me, I bet you’ll be presently surprised.
While Gudda doesn’t get a lot of looks on a team with Weezy and Drake, he shouldn’t be a complete stranger to Southern rap fans. He used to be a member of Squad Up, so anyone that remembers a few years back, when Wayne and his crew were putting out all those Squad Up mixtapes, Gudda was a part of that.
So, yeah, check Guddaville out. It’s dope, just take my word for it. Sorry about my tardy to the partyness. Enjoy.

I had never heard of Lykke Li until Drake flipped her song “Little Bit,” but from the music I’ve heard, I’m digging this Sweden chick’s music. “Possibility” leaked the other day, and it’s featured on the soundtrack for the new Twight: New Moon movie (which is the only movie I can’t wait to see right now). “Possibility” is a real somber track that’s basically about the pain of someone leaving you. Well, Lykke explains the song a lot better during her MTV News article here, so read that if you need an explanation for the song.

This track leaked to the web the other day. It’s supposedly going to be on Timbaland’s album Shock Value 2, but I don’t think this version is even finished. But it still goes hard.

I heard this track and had a flashback like, “You hear me talking to you, girl! Say something!”
Over the weekend, Gucci Mane did the most retarded then when he dropped 3 mixtapes—one with Drama, one with Holiday and one with Scream—at 10:17 pm on Saturday night (I think the meaning behind the time has something to do with his block/crew, 1017 Brick Squad, or something like that). I couldn’t really believe it myself, especially since he just dropped a Gangsta Grillz mixtape with Drama a couple weeks ago, and I haven’t even finished listening to that one yet. You can’t front on Gucci for flooding the streets like this though. His work ethic is crazy. Enjoy these.
