“You give me a feeling that I’ve never felt before,” – Alicia Keys “Unthinkable (I’m Ready)”…WritersBlockMedia.net’s Hot 10…#1…Alicia Keys.

Alicia Keys

Birthday: January 25, 1981 (age 29)
Hometown: New York, New York
What She Do?: Singer/Songwriter/Musician/Actress

Being that Alicia Keys is now engaged to Swizz Beatz and pregnant with his baby, and since I exclude married women from my lustful hotties lists, this will be the last time you’ll see A. Keys on a Block Hot list. But since this is will be her final go, I have no choice but to put Alicia Cook at the Top of my Hot 10. Out of all the women that were left off Maxim’s Hot 100, and that weren’t a part of my Hot 10 in 2007, Alicia effing Keys is the finest of them all. To me, Alicia has always been slept on, and I think that’s because those braids she used to rock weren’t the hot ish, but ever since she got rid of those, she’s been Top 5 dead or alive in my book.

I don’t know about the rest of ya’ll nuccas, but every time I witness a A. Keys performance I stand at attention while waiting for her to get up from her piano, in hopes of maybe getting a glimpse of her backside. And hitting Keys on a piano has always been a fantasy of mine, but now that Swizz Beatz went and put a ring on her finger, I guess that’ll never happen (man, eff that nucca…#hating).

Anyone that knows me and follows The Block shouldn’t be surprised with this pick at all. Alicia Keys is the prototype for the kind of women that I go for over here. Pretty, light skin, thick, long hair…yeah, pretty much all the shallow social stereotypes that people place on ethnic women are the standards that The Block’s Hot 10 are made of. Sue me.

I know Alicia Keys is Swizz’s soon to be wife, but she’s also the creme de la creme on WBM.net’s 2010 Hot 10. Gentlemen and ladies, WritersBlockMedia.net’s Hot 10, #1…Alicia Keys.

Alicia Keys…smh…lawd have mercy…

Aight people. It’s not Monday morning anymore but it’s now Feb. 15th and that means Valentine’s Day is over with, and I for one am fuxing stoked about that. I mean, I had a great V-Day weekend but finding the perfect V-Day gift and planning a nice evening for that special someone can be nerve racking, and I’m just glad my yearly relationship dues have been paid for 2010. Anyways, whether you were booed up or not, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I’m gonna do a quick recap and then we can get started with another weekend on The Block.

This weekend: The “We Are The World” remake video was released and it was kinda gay. The Valentine’s Day movie came out this weekend and it wasn’t that bad. The NBA All-Star weekend was kinda wack. Well, the Slam Dunk contest sucked, so I feel asleep on it, and I fell asleep on the game last night too, but I’m just saying. Alicia Keys performed during halftime of the All-Star game, and as always she was looking quite smashable. Usher performed last night too, but he was looking rather homo. Alley Boy dropped his mixtape (I was looking forward to that). Donnis signed to Atlantic. Oh, and Chris Brown dropped a mixtape with DJ Drama, so I’ma post that up in a minute too. But I think that’s all that really happened this weekend. I’ma get caught up, and welcome to another week on The Block.

January 11th, 2010

Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend, and that you’re up and ready for another week here on The Block. Aside from NFL Playoff Football, the only eventful thing this past weekend (in my opinion, of course) was Alicia Keys’ appearance on Saturday Night Live. I mean, that girl is so fuxing fine, words can’t even explain how much I hate Swizz Beatz…I just hate him!

Anyways, some of you might have already seen this, but for those that haven’t, we’ll start this week off with that. Enjoy. And for those that have, ain’t nothing wrong with watching Alicia Keys again. Is there? I mean, I’ll watch her azz all fuxing day long. I just don’t know what she sees in Swizz Beatz that she doesn’t see in me.

A couple more videos are after the jump.
