Now that the Carolina Panthers are out of the NFL Playoffs, thanks to Jake Delhomme and his SIX turnovers, after their 33-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, I’m about done with the NFL this season. The only teams I really cheer for are the Panthers (since I’m from Carolina), the Atlanta Falcons (cause I live in ATL), and the Indianapolis Colts (because Peyton Manning is usually my fantasy football quarterback), but all three of the them are out of the playoffs, so I’m about done.
Out of the remaining teams in the playoffs, the Eagles and Cardinals, and the Ravens and Steelers, I hope the Eagles and Steelers make it to the Super Bowl because I wouldn’t be interested in any other Super Bowl matchup.
And speaking of the Super Bowl, I just realized my line brother is getting married on Super Bowl weekend. Who gets married on Super Bowl weekend? I was thinking about going to Tampa for the Super Bowl, but with this wedding coming up, it looks like I’ll be stuck in August, GA. I was thinking about calling him to see if they’d be willing to change their wedding date, or maybe have a Super Bowl party instead of a wedding reception, but then I thought that would be asking too much.
Then, I thought about skipping the wedding all together and going to Tampa, since there is a 50/50 chance that he’ll end up in divorce anyway (according to the divorce rate nowadays), then I’ll just make sure I’m there the next time he decides to get married. But I can’t do my LB like that, cause he wouldn’t flake on me like that. And I might come up on something at the wedding, especially since hoes promiscuous girls at weddings seem to be easy targets.
Anyways, what was I saying before? Oh yeah, Jake Delhomme is a bum. Good luck to Donovan McNabb and the Eagles, and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. It would be nice to see either a black quarterback or a black head coach win the Super Bowl, so those are the teams that I’m going for this week. Oh yeah, and Jake Delhomme is a bum.
