That Bruno Mars fella from the B.o.B. “Nothing On You” song can sang like a muthaf@cka. Too bad he didn’t get Bob and Cee-Lo to be in this video. Bruno’s It’s Better If You Don’t Understand EP is out now.

Some of my folks ain’t up on Janelle Monae, but she’s well on her way to becoming an international superstar. I like some of her music, but then some of her other stuff is just a little too…for lack of better words..”weird” for me. But this remix is tight work. Janelle’s new album The ArchAndroid is out now.

I just realized I leaked this track on Twitter last week, but I never put it up on The Block. But this is probably gonna be my girl P.’s next single. Priscilla is in the studio right now working on a new album, and if you missed her debut album, you missed a good one.

Adventures of Bobby Ray landed at the top spot this week, making B.o.B.’s debut his first #1 album, after selling about 84k units. I mean, 84k isn’t Lil Wayne numbers, but you can’t expect a new artist to do stupid first numbers in this day and age, so this is still something to be proud of (congrats, Bob). Hey, if you said they’re 84,000 nuccas outside and they all got B.o.B. CDs, that’s a lot of people. It is what it is.

Me and Nanci O talked about this on her radio show last week. Basically, about how it was important to hip-hop for B.o.B. to do numbers. I can’t really explain it right now because I’m watching the Atlanta Hawks get destroyed by 40 points as I type this (good lawd), but just listen to the audio as I explain.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, the homie B.oB.’s long awaited debut album is finally in stores and iTunes. And I for one am excited and prouder than a muthaf@cka to see this dude win. It’s been three years since I named him an artist to watch back in ’07 (yeah, I said 2007). It’s been two years since I wrote his cover story for Ozone. And it’s been about a year since he went from B.o.B. to Bobby Ray and started singing blue grass music (but we still fux with him nonetheless).

Success doesn’t come overnight…unless you’re Justin Bieber. But for everyone else, you have to get out and grind for it. And over the last 3-4 years B.o.B., his managers TJ Chapman and B. Rich, the homie Playboy Tre, and everyone else in the Ham Squad crew have put in work day and night, and I just want to take this time out and say congratulations. B.o.B. (or Bob or Bobby Ray or whatever the hell ya’ll call him) has a platinum selling/#1 song in the country…he’s a star now. You guys did it (clap for ‘em).

Now, the only thing left to prove is an artist like B.o.B. can sell records. To be honest, the album leaked about a week ago, and I did download it (it’s dope, by the way). But I have every intention to hit Target, get a hard copy, and show my support for the new generation of rap stars. And I hope the rest of ya’ll will do the same. Click the link below to purchase.

iTunes: B.o.B. Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray

I heard this isn’t going to be on B.o.B.’s album because they couldn’t clear the Coldplay sample (his album is still dope though). But thanks to the internet we still get to hear this. Shouts to Shake. B.o.B.’s album drops on Tuesday.
