I needed a new J. Cole track in my life. Carolina music all day. This is off some producer named Elite’s The Groundwork mixtape. I didn’t listen to the mixtape but be my guest.

I’ve been on Reflectional Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek) since this. They have a new album coming out in February, and this track has been on repeat the last couple days. I already have an album to look forward to in 2010.
Side note: Jay Electronica and J. Cole are the truh.

I didn’t do a recap of the A3C weekend that went down in the A last week, but I just stumbled across this video of J. Cole’s show over at 2 Dope Boyz. Yes, I was there. And yes, the sh!t was dope. The rest of the show is after the jump, and if I come up on any other videos from A3C, (like Curren$y’s show, cause his set was ill too), I’ll be sure to post it on The Block.
I promise, I’ve never seen an episode of The Deal. Hell, I hardly ever watch BET, unless they’re showing reruns of The Game. Thank God for the internet.
Btw, J. Cole freestyles towards the end. “Get back to rap you niggas Twitter too much,” J. Cole.
Spotted at eskay’s house.
I hope you all will forever me, but I had a long weekend at the SMES ( met 9th Wonder!), I drove back this morning and went straight to my office, so I’m fuxing tired and I didn’t blog today (*shrugs*). On top of that, either my phone or Sprint was tripping earlier because I had no service until a minute ago, when I finally thought to turn the phone off and turn it back on, and it started working. But the long weekend, long drive back and the stress of being without a cellphone for a few hours has me worn out so I’m not really hanging on The Block today (Monday), but I’ll be back tomorrow (Tuesday).
Actually, after I left the j-o-b, the only thing I really did was watch Entourage since I missed it yesterday, and they played this song by Lee Fields & The Expressions at the end of the episode (btw, Entourage’s music editor is fuxing dope). I know nothing about Lee and his crew, but I heard this sample on this J. Cole song, and I really like this joint. So, you all can just check this track out and I’ll get at ya’ll later.
