So, yesterday I got a call from the homie Cleve, asking if I ever heard of Alexis Jordan. Alexis Jordan? Alexis Jordan? You mean Alexis Tylor? Ok, no, never heard of her. He went on to tell me that Alexis Jordan is an artist from Columbia, SC that Jay-Z just signed to Roc Nation. Really? My curiosity instantly led me to google, where I confirmed what Cleve told me. Looks like Jay-Z added another Carolina artist to his Roc Nation roster (J. Cole is from Fayetteville, NC for you slow nuccas).

J. Cole had a sold out show at S.O.B.’s in NYC on Tuesday night, and from what I heard he rocked that sh!t. And as an encore, he performed a new song called “Who Dat,” which is available over for your viewing pleasure above. There’s also an acapella video below if you wanna check that out, too. And if anyone at home is keeping score, I tried to tell you folks about this lil nucca from Fayetteville, NC damn near a year ago. Ya’ll didn’t hear me until he was on Jay-Z’s album, but it’s ok. You’re playing attention now, and that’s all that matters.
